Classroom ExpectationsExpectations
We strive to achieve a classroom environment that allows students to become an active participant in the learning process. As as class we have worked together to come up with classroom expectations that will allow us to create and maintain an interactive, safe, and hands on learning environment. The classroom expectations are: 1. Be Respectful 2. Be Caring 3. Be Safe Class Dojo Each student will have their own class dojo where I will record behavior, participation, and effort. At the end of the week students will be paid class cash for the dojo points they have earned. Parents and students can access the report information by logging in to their accounts. |
About our Class... |
Allergies: We have a few students in our classroom with nut allergies and/or dairy allergies. Please remind your child that it is not safe to share/trade food items with other students.
Birthdays: We look forward to celebrating class birthdays, and you are welcome to bring a treat at the end of school (in the last 20 minutes). Family members are more than welcome to join the celebration with our class, just be sure to check in with the office first. Class Parties: Please look for more information from our room parent(s) regarding class parties. We celebrate Halloween, the Winter Holidays, and the End of the Year. Star Student: Each full week of school we will recognize one student. During your child's week they will make a Star Student News poster, bring in their favorite picture book, bring in a letter from their family, and the class will write them kind notes. You will receive a letter with detailed instructions and the Star Student News poster during the week prior to your child's star student week. Field Trips: |
